Whats wood?
 

In all of my research in the process of seeking out what I though would be a well built boat, I read many stories and saw many posts of owners rebuilding their wood stringer and foam system due to rot. As I understand, rot takes place from the bottom up. A solid feeling floor may not necessarily indicate you are rot free. After seeing some promotional media, I am under the assumption that the 2003 SX8 is a wood free stringer and hull? Is there wood in the floor, or anywhere else?

According to the Sea-Fox 2003 brochure, they used foam filled fibreglass stringers and bonded a fibreglass floor directly to the stringers. There doesn't appear to be any wood used in either the stringers or floor construction.
