SX19 Switches

Hi everyone,This has probably been asked many times but I can't find the answer on here, so can anyone please tell me what each of the eight rocker switches are for on my 2005 SX19 as the writing has worn off them,I know I could trace the wiring etc but would be easier if I had an idea of what they are operating before I start taking it apart to identify what they do.Thanks.

Re: SX19 Switches

I've searched all the pics I could find, and this appears to be the closest I can find.

Left Side (L-R):
Horn
Bilge Blower
Stereo
Navigation/Anchor Lights (3 way switch)

Right Side (L-R)
Courtesy Lights
Accessory (venturing a guess here)
Bilge Pump
Accessory 2 (also a guess)

I know they did include a couple accessory switches, and if they weren't wired into anything from the factory like a depth finder, etc., they're most likely not wired up to anything at all. You can use these for things like fishfinders, power amps for stereo, etc.

Shabah thanks for the info, have had a look and listen and all sounds about right, couple of other things being new to inboards how often should the bilge blower be used and is the bilge pump automatic with the dash switch as an over ride? Cheers

Re: SX19 Switches

The bilge blower should be used for 1-2 mins before every time you attempt to start up the boat. Gas fumes are heavier than air & settle in the bilge area. The blower removes them before you start the boat and doing so prevents the chance for a spark caused explosion. And yes to your 2nd question.
