i have just bought a 2003 mariah sx9 with a 4.3 mec engine. i have no manual but want to know what the buttons on the trottle mean.they say trailer and advance trottle.also if anybody know where i may get my hands on a owners manual. Thanks P.S Never owned a boat before.

Welcome aboard, I would think a dealer may be able to get you one for yours. If not in our contributing members section, there is brochures and manuals about these boats.

Welcome aboard. Throttles on that size boat usually have 4 buttons.
1 - On your grasp to unlock it from neutral, allow the throttle lever to move forward or aft and put it in gear (forward or reverse)
2 - Trim up
3 - Trim down
4 - Towards the bottom, out of the way, to allow the throttle lever to move forward in neutral

The trailer button is meant to be used ONLY when loading your boat onto the trailer, and NEVER while the boat is in motion. It lifts your outdrive as far up as it can go so you don't drag it on the ground while loading or unloading.
