1 have a 2003 mariah sc21 with a mercury 5.0 ho, i want to go with a small or big block chevy, can this be done? has anyone tackled this before? i need info. no more ford!

Just an FYI, the Mercruiser engines are made by General Motors. They use the chevy small block and large block engines with marinzed components. Despite the name, Mercury Marine engines aren't made by Ford, it's been years since Ford made any marine engines.

are you shere you dont have a 5.0 litre chevy small block (305) you prabally do.

I just replaced the IAC valve on my 2003 SX21 5.0L. It is a chevy motor but the IAC valve is the same one that is used on a Lincoln LS (Ford)
