SX19 GPS placement
 

Hi all. Great forum. Thanks for the add!! I have searched but haven’t found an answer. Where do SX19 owners have their GPS mounted? Any pics? The slant of the windshield keeps me from thinking it is feasible to mount it around the helm.

On my boat, a previous owner had removed the compass and put a Simrad GO5 in that place. This very poor photo shows the mount and cables, but not the nav unit itself attached because I keep it ashore to avoid theft at my lift.

I actually use my phone on a WizGear rotating mount. The Navionics phone app is pretty cheap (certainly less expensive than a GPS unit) and doesn't involve me mounting anything else onto the dash.
