getting ready for some serious boating
 

We recently bought a property at Grey's Point in Topping Va. We plan on really putting our 2006 Mariah bow rider to work this year. The river we will be playing on is Rappahannock/Chesapeake Bay...yes salt water...how long is recommended before taking boat out and flushing...many thanks

We just bought a property at Gray's Point on the Rappahannock/Chesapeake Bay. We plan on playing on the river a lot. We have always had our boat in fresh water...Recommendations on how often to take out of salt water and flush? Many thanks

I live in a freshwater environment here in MI but by friend in FL washes his boat and flushes the engine after every use...salt water is very corrosive
