Now I'm Really Confused
I purchased a 2005 Sea Fox model 204 Fish Cuddy recently. I have extensively searched thru the Sea Fox archives on line trying to drum up some literature on this boat. None of the yearly brochures from the time Sea Fox bought out Mariah in 2002 does it show any of the models where Sea Fox used the Mariah molds to produce this line of boats. So I found this website and joined in hopes of finding it here. I just finished reading and looking at the 2005 brochures for the Mariah line of boats and a fish cuddy is no where to be found there either. SO if Sea Fox does not show my boat in their 2005 brochure and Mariah does not show my boat in their brochure, how were these boats even marketed or sold to the public?
Any guidance or help with this would be appreciated! /whoops |

Re: Now I'm Really Confused
If I was a gambling man I'd have a punt on that boat being from the SC21 moulds, But boy have they done some work to sanitise the Mariah detailing...

Re: Now I'm Really Confused
SeaFox built a separate line of fishing boats before they had anything to do with the Mariah name so the lines weren't mixed and this site has no documentation regarding any of SeaFox's fishing boats.

Re: Now I'm Really Confused
This just keeps getting better and better! AndyB and mikeyt thanks for your information and inputs. While waiting for AndyB so see the posted pics of my boat, I called the customer service manager for Sea Fox boats in S.C. (Jason is his name) and inquired about my dilemna with trying to find the origin of a 204 CuddyFish Sea Fox. Turns out, he did not have a good answer at all other than to say that at this point in their history (2005) it was something of a specialty boat and that is why it does not show up on their product line brochure for that year (or any other for that matter). He sent me what he had which was just like a page out of a brochure with the fun facts about my boat - you know CL dims, beam dims, dead hull rise, fuel capacity etc. It just tickles me that if you were asking Chevrolet for some information about a Vega that they should be able to give you what you asked for because they produced the darn thing. Sea Fox is oblivous to the manufacturing of this boat - what would happen if an owner had a hull warranty claim?!?!?!?!?

Re: Now I'm Really Confused
Honestly, I dont know or really care much about SeaFox boats on this site. Our only interest was in their Mariah line.

Re: Now I'm Really Confused
Nice looking boat and have found that sea fox isn't particularly knowledgable about legacy products of their own, whether it's an old product or part or leagacy Mariah boats.... Test image to high turnover perhaps.
