we have a prop on it with code no 3850301 alui but we like to use for pulling kids on wakeboard and ring as well as cruising
i dont think its the right prop can anyone advise what to do or has anyone the right prop for sale please ?

is there any checks i should be doing myself before taking her out other than obvious ?

Hi Mart not much of a volvo expert but I would say about an 18pitch ss would be about right for a 4.3 I can;t see the hp numbers being much different then a Merc you might like a four blade aswell just a thought hope it helps the 5.0 I had the four blade ss made a world of difference.

Mart ... find out what prop is on the boat first then get back to us before we give you any guidance. Your local Volvo dealer should be able to identify the prop for you.

Re: Prop Question Mariah 216c

Hi thanks for help
I have an 19 p Ali prop at moment
Have been told about a new prop not been out long
The four blade Ali and they say along with testimonials
That it's beats the stainless steel it by turning point
I find it hard to believe ?
Cheers
Mart

Re: Prop Question Mariah 216c

The Turning Point prop you mention is all hype & no real performance improvement from what i've read elsewhere but i believe there is one or two members here that are using them and like them. If you want another prop that will be a slight improvement on the 19" 3 blade i would personally consider buying a 20" - 4 blade SS such as a Michigan Wheel Apollo or BayPro Stiletto. Here is a link to what iboats.com has for your boat in this size.
