Perfect prop search
 

Hi all,

Currently swinging a 14.25 x 21 three blade alunimum on our FS18. The 4.3 alpha I gets us 45 mph @ 4600 rpm. We'd like to do some water sports ( nothing too serious) and have a good performing cruise.

Thinking a ss 4 blade is the answer in the same pitch. Has anyone tried Power Tech props? Are they on par with mercury products? The price point and exchange program are certainly attractive.

Dont know a lot about them other than they are not for every application and can be a little pricey but that they are of decent quality. A good place to start if you are interested is to contact them, tell them what you have and what you want to achieve and let them tell you which of their props would suit your needs and at what cost.
