Re: more prop questions

My two cents worth. What I found to help protect my prop.I have used a skeggard on my old boat for many years and has saved my prop many times. I am going to put one on my Z 272 Shabah Brovo 111 this spring before I go boating. Gary G PS It was 79 today and in the 80's tomorrow

Re: more prop questions

Hey guys, got the new prop on and took the boat out yesterday. What a huge difference! I bought a 14"x20p 4 blade, it is a mercury alpha 4 aluminum prop. It really blew out of hole nicely and at 4800 rpm I still ran 50-51 mph. Very very happy! I was going to do the smart tabs, but I don't think I will right now. The bow will still rise but falls immediately now.
