ignoring the spelling..... ;) you could increase the pitch to a 22 or 23" which would theoretically give you a little more top end but at the expense of making the boat a bit slow off the line. That 21" high 5 should be just about ideal for your boat.

In my experience I have found the highest pitch 3- blade a engine can run at mid-high RPM limit will get the best top-end. It will sacrifice hole shot and water-sports performance though. If all you want is speed, I would pack light, and go with a mirage plus 23" or 25" lab-finished($$$).

Hi tet68,

Increasing pitch depends on what you're RPMs are now at WOT with your current prop.

If your motor can handle a few more RPMs, I would go with a pitch increase as well as switching to a three blade prop like z275st's said for more top speed (less drag than four or five blade props), but again, you're going to hurt on the bottom end so getting to that new top speed is going to take longer.

Just remember, you're pretty fast right now (95kph/59mph) so I doubt you'd see much of an increase in top speed, I'd say at the most maybe 8kph difference if your lucky for all your co$t.

z275st is right about keeping things light, and it's the cheapest thing to try so only pack the essentials and navigate smart.

Good luck,
WetWilly
