Well here it is. after doing a little searching I can't seem to find what happens when your electric hatch stopped working And you need to get the compartment open. Hope someone has an answer other than brut force. Thanks again.

The brackets that hold the rams on mine allow you to lift it up about 6 inches. Then you can reach in and pull the pins at the top of the ram and open by hand.
