Where are your battery switches mounted? I just bought one of these guys and would like to know the "normal" location for it.

Battery switch mounting

Mine hangs on the starboard side partition that encloses the engine. It lifts off to remove the partition.

Re: Battery switch mounting

My Z250 had it mounted inside the engine compartment on the starboard side engine panel, just like Dozer's.

One thing to keep in mind, if you have an electric hatch actuator, and you need access to the engine compartment to switch batteries because you ran one dead, it can be pretty tricky, because the lift won't work. You may want to consider getting some longer cables and mounting it outside the engine compartment. I had thoughts of mounting mine in the starboard side storage compartment in front of the bench seat, just never got around to it. :)

I agree, mine is inside the bench seat. It's hidden, but easily reached without powering up the engine cover. I also installed a trickle charger in there, so I can just plug it in to top off the batteries.

Mine just has the gas lift cylinders so not an issue but definitely something I bet you wouldn't think about till you went to raise it to switch from the dead battery. :banghead:
