Trim Tabs
 

Hi guys
been a long time since I have posted any thing ,but ive had a bad time lost my business due to the recsescion here in England, but i am getting back on track now, I have not been out on my boat for two years but i am going to America later this year so i can play with my boat again, I was thinking of fitting trim tabs to her as i believe they help with stabilising the steering and helps getting on the plane easier, i was looking at the Nautilus auto tabs has any one got these or has any information to how they will improve the handling , and the best place to fit them

hi Ed,

If you do a site search here for "Trim tabs" or "Smart Tabs" you will find lots of threads discussing them. With a boat your size though you would likely have to go with the Smart Tabs II. The Nauticus site gives some excellent guidance on where to place them & how to install.
