'94 Talari 190 Smart Tabs

Attached are the photos I took of the installation of smart tabs on my Mariah. This was the best investment I have made for better handling and it wasn't expensive either.

Re: '94 Talari 190 Smart Tabs
Question regarding Smart tabs. I have a 98 Shabah 180 and have always heard great things about smart tabs. However, I store my boat at a dry stack marina and have a sneaking suspiscion that the smart tabs would not last long with the forklift picking the boat up. Anyone had similar experience to testify as to whether or not I should be concerned with this?

Re: '94 Talari 190 Smart Tabs
The Smart Tabs are hinged where they attach to the stern and they have a hydraulic actuator to push them down into the water. They will still move up if you put sufficient upward pressure against them. The actuators can be moved to different adjustment holes to increase or decrease the pressure required to move the tab. That is how you fine tune the installation to your boat.
That hinge and it's operation should allow the yard to move your Mariah without any damage (if they are careful). :wink_thumbup: |

Two boats on the lower left of this pic have tabs.
