toilet replacement-z276 mcc
I am trying to remove the old toilet that has nuts under the floor. It's pretty hard to get your arm and a wrench through the floor cabinet, and under the floor to reach the four nuts that hold the toilet in place. If i can't reach the farthest two nuts, the top plange of the toilet will have to be cut,and taken out in pieces.

Could you post a pic for us to see the problem area? There's very limited photos of the Z276 MCC, Maybe we could find a helpful solution if we could see what the issue is! :)
Also, why are you replacing the toilet, did something go wrong? |
Good news;i fixed the problem by using a 4 inch hole saw. It turned out, that there was enough room to drill a 4 inch hole directly below the tiolet. That gave me enough room to get my hand through the hole, and put a wrench on the nuts under the toilet floor.Un-screwing the four bolts that hold the toilet in place, was easy. The whole job took about one hour,to replace the old toilet, with the new one. After everything was in place and working,I made a fiberglass coverplate to hide the 4inch hole.:wink_thumbup:

That's great Roger! We love to hear success stories!
Just goes to show you that there is a lot of ingenuity in this club! Congrats, :wink_thumbup: WetWilly |
