my opinion take the time and money and bring it back..we have a 95 Davani im doing the same thing ti it right now. my priority right now is to get it running again then im either bringing it back to factory or adding nice new features as i go.

Was this boat listed for sale near Ithaca NY in summer 2015? Looks very similar to one I low-balled but didn't get. Sorry to hear it's rotten but if it is the boat I'm thinking about, I'm not surprised.

Yes yes it is how far did you low ball it? I didn't pay an outrageous amount as I knew it was mainly for parts or an expensive resto, I wanted it for the trailer... there was a gorgeous 99/98 shabah that was selling up in lake George at the time with no trailer. It wound up selling before I could get up there, I have had this since. Finally decided to either part it out or restore it.

I think I offered somewhere around $1000. I guess I dodged a bullet. Ended up buying a 216 Talari that was in Lansing. Smaller boat, smaller engine, fewer bells and whistles, but it ran. Afraid to check for rot in stringers and transom; gotta imagine this is an issue for 90% of boats that have been used for 20 years.

Ya I'm starting to fear that myself however this boat was not well taken care of it had no cover on it and by the engine there are two drains on either side that drop to the stingers they are barbed for a reason some kinda hose should be on them to drain the water to the bilge. Not let it just dump onto the stringers where it starts to soak in.
