96 Z220 Bravo III
 

So I have a Z220 Talari with a 5.7 merc fuel injected with a bravo III outdrive.. Anyone know what the top speeds are on these... Average? I know several factors come into play but just curious if anyone with the same boat and specs, what speeds have you reached on the water? My speedometer is not working properly ... Any ideas on that to if you have had the same issues. This boat has been awesome runs likes a charm! Love it.

You could download a simple gps speedometer if you have a smart phone. They are pretty accurate.

My 94 shabah z212 with 5.7 efi bravo 3 will do 57 mph. That was smooth water. 2 people, full tank of fuel.
That is gps. Speedo showed 65!

I have a '94 Z220 with a 7.4 Volvo Duo-Prop 320 horse.. with 5 people and a full tank of gas (60 gallons) I hit 55 per GPS, my speedo says 50.... never trust your speedometer..or gas gauge for that matter:)

You should hit at 50,000 RPM's aboat 45 - 50 MPH
