Head issue Z 308

New to the Club and have a question.

Troubleshooting a non-working head in a z-308- So far I cannot even tell if I have power to the switch because there are two red (positive) wires connected to it then they disappear to somewhere unknown. The positive and negative from the macerator motor do the same thing – I see them coming from the motor and then disappear. Can anyone tell me where these wires end up? Is there a switch or fuse buried somewhere?

Thanks for any help!

Dumb question but I have to ask. Do you have the "Waste Pump" switch flipped on the DC side of your shorepower panel?

On my Z280 in the aft cabin, in the storage compartment nearest the head, there's a small fuse panel stored under a carpeted panel. It's held in place with a few screws, so it should be easy to spot. Perhaps you could check there.

As for the macerator, most of the time, you'll never need it (and the USCG may prohibit using it in your area).
