The guy (Mike Eftink of Eftinksboats) on eBay is the same person here on our site but he is slow in responding to emails.

I was going to buy this but you must have gotten to it before me. I must get one of these as my radio is bouncing around as I cruise the river. I hope be posts another one soon.

Eftink makes them. Send him an email or private message from here or better still, try to reach him via eBay or Facebook.

Mine cracked as well 2 seasons ago and I ended up making one out of 1/2" Lexan (plexiglass). Came out awesome however only lasted 1 season. This year I took my boat out of storage and my passenger console cooler lid and lower passenger compartment lid both had cracks in them. I took them all off, gave it to a friend of mine who does some wood working on the side and he is recreating those 3 pieces out of solid Mahogany and I will stain and varnish to my liking. Done with plastic...

I stumbled across a picture of your radio bezel while searching google... the Lexan looks really nice, to bad it didn't hold up.

Yes I really liked the look of it especially when you paint them black on the back side. Just came from my buds house and he is going to do all my compartment pieces in mahogany. A total of 5 plus the bezel. Should look good (I hope). he already had one done today. I need to find a stain to match the rest of the fake plastic wood left on the boat.

I hope you have better luck at staining stuff than I do lol. I am in the process of remodeling our house and thought I would attempt to darken the door casings, window trim and cabinetry in our
bathroom. I was directed to a product called minwax polyshades at lowes... it didn't end well for me or the trim/cabinets lol. I'm now going back to a regular stain and poly to attempt it again now that I got the other product sanded off lol.

I'll be waiting on the pictures, I imagine the mahogany will look beautiful once finished. Good luck!
