fuel issues
hi folks,
this weekend my 252 was running great until i filled it with fuel, it then ground to a halt. the engine became limp and lumpy and i had to be towed back. The original fuel may have been in the tank for quite some time. does anybody have any ideas on the following, do i need to pump all the fuel out, and what should i look for? do i need to get the fuel tank out and flush completely? once the tank is cleaned does anybody have any recommendations of what i should do , i.e. put any additives in to clean the carbs on the 350 mag 5.7 litre? many thanks tats UK |
Re: fuel issues
Change the fuel filter and add a additive such as THIS:wink_thumbup:

Re: fuel issues
Or you could try some sea foam after you change the fuel separator , it is good stuff!!! Walmart is the cheapest, poor the fuel out of the separator in to something clear to see if you have any water too!:wink_thumbup:
