Looking for a cover
Hello there!
Last spring I bought a 1997 mariah Shabah 180 without a boat cover and never got around to getting one for it always garage kept but after spending the winter without a cover I know I really do need one! So I have been looking around for a cover and found what I think are some decent covers and which they are telling me are made for my boat? For $250-600. So I'm just curious if anyone has any recommendations? Just curious what has worked well for everyone and what I should stay away from? Let me know! Also if anyone has a pic of their Shabah with an aftermarket cover on it I would like to see!!!! Thanks for your time! |
Re: Looking for a cover
Got a link to the ones you found? Finding aftermarked covers that fit properly is usually very difficult and many members opt to get one custom made out of a sunbrella material.

Re: Looking for a cover
I purchased one recently. It is built well. I was going to do a little write up on it once I put it on my boat to see how it fits.
It is a 'Windstorm' by Eevelle. They sell through something like "national boat cover.com". 7 year warranty. Made in USA. Kinda hard to beat that. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk http://www.nationalboatcovers.com// |
Re: Looking for a cover
I was looking on iboats.com. Not sure if anyone has bought them or not? But from the webpage it all sounds good to me. I'm not expecting the aftermarket cover to fit perfect but I also don't want a cover that has 2 extra feet of play on the sides either.

Re: Looking for a cover
I can't comment on the fit yet. In the process of putting a swim platform on. I ordered the cover 3' longer due to the platform.
As for the material on that cover it feels durable. I ended up buying it from unbeatable sale.com and used promo codes. It was $315 shipped. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk |
