Default Depth transducer came loose

So there I was cleaning my builds because you know I want to eat my sandwich if it happens to fall in there.... Anyway, as I was cleaning I touched the transducer and it just came loose. I swear I just tapped it!! Anyway, I assume west systems gflex 650 epoxy will work to glue it back down bit I figure I'd ask for options on here first. Maybe a more non permanant adhesive is in order bit not sure. Thoughts please...
Thanks guys!

After a while the epoxy becomes brittle and the transducer works its way loose from the vibrations in the boat. Yes, just about any epoxy will do to re-seat the unit.

Hey hooligan, just out of curiosity... Assuming you have the Lowrance 3500 like mine does- what does your read out say while the transducer is knocked off?

My read out just flashes 0 and was thinking I may have purchased a new unit when I didn't need to. I have yet to unwrap the boat. Maybe in the next two weeks if the platform is done.

I will hook up a battery and let you know. I will also take some pictures. I think this helps me figure my transom bilge drain question as well.

Hey moto, I do have the 3500. Mine flashes 0.5 whether it's pointed at the sky or set where it was mounted. I am pretty sure this is what it's normal behavior has been until you put the boat in the water, at least from what I remember from last summer. Maybe someone else can second that...

That's wild! I hope that's all that's wrong with mine!
If not I have a new Faria that matches the dash.
