Thru hull Exhuast 222 Shabah
 
Does anyone have thru hull on there 222 Shabah ? Im wonting to put it on mine I need pic of the Exhaust. I cant seem to find any pics of it. I need some of the back and engine compartment. It seems to have a double walled transom kinda different to me. Thanks Chris

Not cheap Chris.
Do a search on Corsa or Captains Call , and you'll get a lot of info. :)

here is a pic of mine. i did not use corsa and it does not have a solenoid to quiten the exhaust. it is loud always..... and i love it.

the way i did mine is....centered the outside hole first, used a hole saw and bored a hole through the hull. then used a sawzall and removed enough of the inside wall to get access to the exhaust manifold. the problem i ran into is that the angle from the exhaust manifold to the outside hull is such that i had to cut the flange off of the exhaust tip and align it and reweld after the proper angle was achieved. i dont have any pictures of the inside wall clearance. hope this helps.....

in my opinion, it is a LOT of work! but the outcome is well worth it....

Hi I did my 2000 Z202 last spring and I used a kit from moore performance if you want to call me I can fill you in, the kit was 299.00 and I bought the tips with the right angel for 200.00 and 2 feet of 4 inch hose all in all I had about 6 or7 hundred in parts it is awesome!! 740-815-2890 ken

If you have a small block engine, there is very little gain performance wise. Big block there is a nice gain. I wrestled with this on my Z200 and in conjunction with the 5.7 and 2 barrel carb the best option for me was to sell the boat and buy one with i a big block and the work already done.

While I would like some performance, I really just want the rumble!
I've been kicking around captains call with side dumps for a winter project. Too much sentimental value in our 202 to get rid of it...
