Removing oval mirrors in Z302
 
Does anyone know how to remove these mirrors? I have unscrewed the 4 bolts but still won't budge. Are the mirrors glued? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

they maybe attached from the back side. reach up under the rear back cushions thru the front seat compartments and feel around

I removed mine --and found that there were a total of 6 screws on each --4 shorter and 2 extra long (offset at the top and bottom)--

Jwood, if you do this, can you post some pics when you do yours? Or even some pics of the mirrors once they're removed to show the screw placement?

I certainly will provide pics. I work shift work in the auto industry. It may be a week or two before I get to it tho

Do you just fill the holes with calk or something?

Tackled a "small" upholstery project early last summer.
Here are some before and afters of the oval mirrors and headrests in the cabin.
Out with the tan "microsuede" in with the polo green vinyl.:wink_thumbup:
