Im lookin at 1993 diablo with 4.3 thunderbolt,boats in nice shape clean interior any thought on quality or things to look for during inspection this is my first boat love the looks of these boats engine was jus gone over but im callin on experience of u guys to help me out thanks

Make sure all of the electricals work, particularly the trim/trailer switch cuz if its not working (and assuming its a merc outdrive) you have to remove the outdrive to replace the trim/tilt sensors.

Interior trim pieces and glass are very hard to find so make sure they are in good condition. Ask to see his maintenance records to confirm the boat has been properly winterized each fall. Test run the boat with muffs on the outdrive or even better get it on the water for a test run.
