1997 Mariah Z210 Limited Edition Value

I am looking at purchasing a 1997 Mariah Z210 Shabah Limited Edition boat. It appears to be in great condition with low hours (130 hours) and matching factory/custom dual-axle trailer, 5.7L Mercruiser w/Alpha III "dual prop" outdrive. Used only in local fresh water lakes.

It is the solid red body color (w/gold graphics) with tan/cream colored interior and Captains Call Exhaust. I was wondering if you had any idea what a boat of this year/model/condition/option package should sell for??? A price "range" would be nice.

The only option that I can tell is missing are the snap-on bow and cockpit covers. There are not even any snaps installed onto the hull so I'm pretty sure that it shipped from the factory this way.

I certainly would consider it to be in above average condition. I sold my Z222 Shabah LE about 5 years ago and am looking to get back into the game. Let me know what you guys think would be a fair price.

Thanks,

Mike

Read the thread started by "Domino" right below/above yours. Same information will apply.

Yeah I've read that post and have been searching the internet for a few days now (Craiglist/eBay/Google Search...etc...) but just haven't found anything similar for sale recently. Have also looked at the NADA values but they do seem to be "not very accurate" from what I can tell. The seller wants $12,500.00 for it. I just want to make sure that I am not paying too much. I don't want to loose my ass if I have to sell it for some reason.

I'd like to think that this color combination and options are fairly rare and are pretty desirable and was hoping that some of the Mariah enthusiasts could shed some light on the subject. Thanks.

Limited Edition boats are the rarest of the bunch and given that they are a "Z" with a few extra goodies you could price out a similar "Z" model and add a small premium for the 'LE' options. Unfortunately there just isn't any hard & fast rules for valuing these boats and its usually just what the market will bear at any given time & location.

I paid that for a '99 Z212 with same motor and drive (bravo III) 2 yrs ago. 290 hrs. I think it's a fair price.

Thanks Diamond Dave. That's the type of feedback that I was looking for. Do you happen to know what the difference is between a Z210 and Z212?

The 212 is the same dimensions as a 210 but comes with a slightly larger fuel tank (40 vs 47 gals) and a slight change in the transom deadrise from 20 to 19 degrees. I also believe they dropped the 7.4L engine option for the 212. Other than that they are very similar boats.
