Has anyone installed captains call on their Mariah?
As I posted earlier I am looking at a 222 Shabah that has a 7.4 mpi. I think it's a waste having that big motor and not being able to let it talk. Has anyone installed a captains call exhaust system on their Mariah? I have looked at the kits from Corsa that come out the side and I was wondering how that would work since the sides are kind of layered and not smooth.
Thanks! Abs |
Re: Has anyone installed captains call on their Mariah?
This topic has been somewhat beat to death on here. To do it properly with OEM style parts will cost around $1500+. Most people have seen extremely minimal gains from adding thru-hull exhaust, at max 1-2mph.
I personally, think saving the money and using it for fuel and/or frosty beverages (to enjoy at anchor/dock) would be a much better investment. If you want thru-hulls, look for a boat with them already installed instead of adding them. But, if you're insistent upon adding them, feel free to search the board for "exhaust" and you'll find a lot of posts about it. |
