My throttle seems to be sloppy making it hard to adjust speeds for knee boarding. The slop doesn't seem to be in the cable but the throttle itself. Are these rebuildable or is there some kind of adjustment inside to tighten them up? Instead of slight changes in speed it's usually 5 mph above or below where I actually want to be. It's a 98 z202. Thanks!

I read that one Larry. Mines the classic. Didn't see any answers that addressed my problem when I searched. I found the parts list but didn't see a way to adjust the throttle cable from the controls. It's probably worn. Thought about switching to the teleflex and then saw the price. Mama isn't digging that idea.

That's where I saw one for $455!! Found one on Amazon for $324. Smart tabs are first on the list. Then I'll address that.
