Yep! Labor Day weekend here in the U.S. definitely going to the lake. You have a bit more open water than I get to see.

Looked like you had a great day Andy. When the Solent is flat like that apart froma bit of swell its a perfect boating playground.
Where did you launch from as I didn't recognize the ramp. Was it Ocean Marina? I use to keep a fast rib at SDS down the Itchen so I could see you'd launched from somewhere near Southampton Water.

Launched at Hythe, and it's always a bit lumpy round Calshot spit :yes_grin:

Up until last year I had my boat next door in Saxon wharf. couldn't cope with the rust from the scrap yard any longer tho
