Boat horn cover
 

Lost the cover today of the oval shaped horn on my 182.:(
just the cover fell off and is now on the river bed.
anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Ebay , here on "parts request" or a marine salvage yard is probably going to be your best bet Lewy.
Can you shoot a pic of the area?

if that's the one about half way along the boat starboard side then you could be right.

If it is the horn, the only "replacement" I could find that was big enough to cover the stock holes on my 99 shabah 202 was an electronic one. All the others were too small and would leave the screw holes uncovered. Not the best choice but it worked. I tried to locate my original but that model has obviously been long discontinued. The only option I didn't check was used/salvage parts. The upside was it was only something like 27 bucks on amazon. My kids say it sounds like the coast guard...lol. and they love to press the button now.
