This guy has these for sale consistently on ebay. They are replicas, pretty decent ones too, and slightly more affordable than the OEM shields, but the one thing that has always jumped out to me is the section in the compass that's miscolored black. If you can't spot it, look at due west, and then directly under it. There's a black section which should be gold. I believe this was done intentionally by the guy making them to make it just slightly different than the trademark shield design which is currently owned by Sea Fox. Clever way to get around trademark infringement.
I haven't made any effort to contact him as it's not a wise idea to let him know the demand for the product. That, in turn will drive his prices sky high, similar to what happened the other retailers. But if you're interested in ordering a pair from him and he's got overseas sales blocked, i'm sure some of us (including myself) would be willing to get them and ship to you. :) |
