Almost there
 

I'm almost done w/ the remodel of my 96, 200 Shabah. So far, all fluids, hoses, belts, carb, impeller, fuel pump, thermostat, full interior, radio + speakers, etc.... have been done. Boat is running extremely well and I'm pleased w/ the purchase so far. The only thing not working is the tilt/trim guage. It was working initially when I bought the boat 3 months ago, but now it is stuck in the "fully trimmed up" position. If I can get this fixed, I'm done........for now at least! Any guidance?

This is a very common problem with the trim sensors on Merc outdrives. You can try to adjust it by following the instruction at this link.
