CE paperwork
Hi, I own a mariah shabah 182 from 2000. New regulation in Belgium (Europe) requires me to have a CE declaration of conformity. My boat does have a CE plate attached, but no paperwork. I contacted the Sea Fox and Mariah Boat Company but they say they do not have any paperwork before 2002. can anyone help me with tracking down a person or company that can help me with this? Thanks a lot.

same as if we need to prove tax paid when taking boats to europe from the uk. you could try dropping these guys an email and see where you stand http://www.cemyboat.com/ |
Re: CE paperwork
Unfortunately in this situation you own one of the original Mariahs & that company went bankrupt in 2002. We get these requests every once in a while from our European members but i really have no idea where to direct you for the necessary documents. Perhaps if you found an original Mariah dealer such as Southwater Marine in Southampton, England (as for David Allen) perhaps he could give you some direction?
2nd thought: have a look at this thread. Il Mio is still an active member here and he is located in Belgium. You could always send him a private message and i'm sure he would be happy to help out. |
Re: CE paperwork
thank you all for your prompt response, I contacted CEMYBOAT, I'll keep you guys posted!

Re: CE paperwork
One more link regarding the CE Paperwork for the European Union here at the NMMA.
I'm going to put a 'Sticky' in the Introductions forum with reference to both of these links for our Euro members. |
Re: CE paperwork
Hi.
As a new member I also have the same issue. My Mariah SX18 is from 2005 and I am also searching for a documentation. I have the CE mark on my boat, but no papers. My boat is in Spain and I really don’t know what to do. Is the best thing to contact Sea Fox Inc. and hope they can help? Thank you.... |
