Engine Hatch

Have 1997 Z222 it only has one electric lift rod on starboard side, is this normal it lifts the hatch crooked seems like that would be hard on it over time.

Sorry Brad , I renamed your thread. My bad :(
Is there a spring shock on the other side? If not there should be.

Bama ,
you need to start a thread with your request in the proper forum. :)
You'll get better results that way. :)
That being said , Have you tried a SeaFox dealer?

No there isn't, doesn't look like there ever has been, no screw holes on bottom of hatch or floor.

If it was me Brad , I'd put one in. That would solve the issue. Make sure the hatch isn't rotted and causing it to twist.
I can't remember if the hatch is wood or fiberglass. You can do a search here on MOC and maybe find out.
Either way I'd install one.
