ShabahZ250 gets an upgrade...
Well, the time was ultimately bound to come. I've had my Z250 since 2006, and just recently it kept getting smaller and smaller, and spending the weekends on Lake Erie became more and more uncomfortable for my girlfriend and I. So I started the search.
Did I leave the brand and all my loyal friends & site members? Nope...... http://www.electrodefilms.com/misc/Z280Tow.jpg She's a one owner 1999 Z280 MCC that's loaded with every option available including A/C, Kohler Genset, full camper canvas that's never been used, stainless radar arch, gray water system, etc. She has all the original manuals, documents, and even the original bill of sale. She was originally purchased in Florida, and was used on Lake Lanier in Georgia. Owner babied it until he became unable to. It was an absolute steal, and I'll be doing some projects and upgrades over the course of the next few months. I'll also be adding some new resources to our "Mariah Manuals & Supplements" section. So keep your eyes out for new additions to the site as I start a new journey with this boat! :) Here she is at her new home in Sandusky Ohio, on Lake Erie. http://www.electrodefilms.com/misc/Z280DockBow.jpg http://www.electrodefilms.com/misc/Z280DockStern.jpg |

Re: ShabahZ250 gets an upgrade...
Thanks guys! I'll be cleaning her up again more this weekend and working on my project list (and likely adding more to it!) :D Still have some learning to do as far as driving it at speed, as I've never had a boat with trim tabs before. What's surprising to me is that it's 3 ft longer, and about 3000lbs heavier than the Z250, and it's actually easier to maneuver. The Bravo 3 Duo-Prop is sweet...
As of right now, the Z250's back in Cincinnati in my driveway. I'm holding on for a little bit as I may have a potential buyer, or might consider a partnership with a good friend on it so we can have a boat here in Cincy for the few events on the Ohio River and for the weekends we can't get up to the lake. If that falls thru, i'll likely be brokering it. Who knows... |

Re: ShabahZ250 gets an upgrade...
Thanks! Been spending the last two weekends working on cleaning her and figuring everything out. The more time I spend on it, the more I fall in love with it. Got rained out for the majority of this past weekend, so I popped up the camper canvas, put on the tunes, and did everything I could! I've been under strict orders from the girlfriend, "while i'm out of town, get the boat cleaned up so we can enjoy it for the rest of the season" :D
