Engine noise
 

My 2001 diablo has a 3.0l merc and has a whine when its in gear and running 1500 rpms. If i throttle ahead or down the nise stops.

Any buddy experience this and know what it may be from?

Check the drive oil , U joints possibly , Alternator whine maybe , PS pump whine(if you got PS) , kinda long list without knowing the exact area the noise is coming from.
Can you give us a little more info to work with?
