Where is the proper mounting points for a bimini top on a 1998 Z272

I am interested in this as well. We are getting ready to have a custom Bimini made for our 275. I have heard people say not to mount the front brackets on the windshield frame because it can cause stress on the aluminum frame of the glass. So then where should the front mounts be? Also, where do you store the Bimini in the boot? I am used to putting the bimini on the boat in the boot and trailering to our boating spot and then raising the bimini. Just confused on the easiest and most practical setup.

I just mounted one which I ordered from Northstar Products Inc. I ordered it with stainless ball side mounts because I didn't want to have it window frame mounted.
