Ski storage
 

Just bought a 275z mid cabin. Was surprised when I opened up the floor hatch and there was not enough room for skis. Any suggestions on getting skis out of the way.

I will take a pic when I get to the boat this weekend. Its the one in the floor between the operator and passenger seat.

I put my skis under the left rear seat. It goes way back toward the transom. with plenty of room for life jackets.Also I suggest a 2x4 about 5ft long there also to use as a safety to hold up the engine hatch (you will find that you will have to unhook the hatch lifts to raise it higher to work in the back area ). I store a knee-board and noodles in the center-floor. Extra prop/tools,marine AMP under rear right seat. Camper canvas under mid-cabin left seat. Extra cartons of drinks and table under cabin right. Under front left seat is cockpit and bow covers. and front right is road reflectors and 3-2x12's nailed together to form a stair step to pull up on with one wheel on so you don't need a jack to change a tire.
