smart tabs too far in
 

This was the first real test of the sx tabs and the 4blade prop. I loved the instant on plane but at speed the boat became very unstable. The stern seemed to skip when cornering reminded me of a jet boat. I mounted the tabs pretty close to the drive to avoid the bunks and keep actuator on same surface as tab. I saw an alternate mounting photo with the actuator on a surface slightly out of plane with the tab. I will move them further out and try again. I like the heavy lean the boat has when cornering hard. With correctly placed and tuned tabs will that remain? I removed the tabs for rest of day on lake and missed the effect they had on planing.

could be too stiff of shocks. might have too much lift on plane
