Built like a tank!

My boat has been at the dealer having Corsa Silent Choice Exhaust installed. I stopped by the dealer today and they had the holes cut in the transom and I found the plugs and picked them up. They measured 2" thick and were solid as a rock!

That's awesome! At least you know she's solid!

Nice.. have a 1993 and have stress cracks on the outside of the transom.. I am a bit concerned the wood inside might be weak...and hence the cracks on the outside gel coat.. perhaps the 5 water skiers is a bit much??

Where do you attach 5 skiers? I wonder every time I see multiple people being pulled, which is pretty rare.

You just string em out like a trout line... One to the next:yes_grin:::punch_out:

Re: Built like a tank!
We have a main rope 65' and then a quick attach ring and then 7 other shorter rope about 25'... this limits the chance of tangling and if tangles happen much easier to resolve... Also if you are building pyramids it keep the group tighter....have had a 5 man two level pyramid before on skis... not many water skiing these days.. wake boarding seems to be a bit of the rage...
If you look at the pic posted closer you will see a boom off the back of the boat on both sides.. i would assume some harness similar..have seen this pic before... always good to know there is a greater fool :) If you ever try this you will find that running many full length ropes a real pain... you never usually get everyone up the first pull so tangles keep you busy... Lots of fun and keeps lots of people busy |

I see. My son is starting to wakeboard so I've been thinking it might be fun to get out there with him.
Yeah, the boom in that world record pic was 308' long... lol. |
