Aerial Freeride on 2000 Shabah 222

Has anyone installed an Aerial Freeride on their Mariah?

I'm considering one for my 2000 Shabah 222 but noticed it says beams from 75 - 100". If I'm not mistaking, I believe my beam is 8'6" or 102". Does that mean it will not fit or is there something I'm not thinking of?

I'm waiting for a response from Aerial but wanted to see if anyone had firsthand experience as this seems to be a popular tower. I did see a 98' z202 with one installed but figure this has a smaller beam.

Also, random question. What is the difference between z222 and 222?

Thanks

I'm also considering the Aerial Airborne. I do like the way the side tubing seems to match the Shabah window lines. Plus, the double tubing up top seems to be more stiff and secure. Plus, it allows for beam of up to 108".

Does anyone have experience with this tower or have an opinion of a different one that I should be looking at?

The Z is simply an equipment package that came with more bells and whistles at time of construction. i.e. docking lights, window defroster, power seat and quite a few other things that made it a Z. Not all Z models have all the options but most of them usually.

I agree with the lines on the tower looking nice when they follow the lines of the window frame.

Is that a different designation than "SE" or special edition? Or are they one in the same?

A Z series is different from a Limited, the LE is a Limited Edition(not SE), and they are independant from the Z, the LE always has a couple unique features, they are always a solid color hull(black, red, white....one color only), and they have buckskin interior. Thats what makes a Limited.:wink_thumbup:
