Any Issue With Welding Metal Attached to a Mariah?
 

Hello MOC Forum,

I am looking at getting a couple spot welds on my wakeboard tower in a location that I don't want to have to worry about coming loose. But, the welder wanted to make sure the boat did not have any inulation.

As I did not know for sure, I thought I would throw it to the forum.

Does anyone see any issue with welding an aluminum pipe that is attached to a 1995 Mariah Barchetta 182? The aluminum is connected to the boat directly on the fiberglass with a rubber washer on the outside and liquid nails and wood board backing with a larger metal washer on the inside.
