Canvas/cocpit cover

Hello!:)
My dear Mariah Shabah 278 is now safely placed inside in a store for the winter.
I have done some upgrades on my boats and have planes to do more.
Such as electric wc with tank, electric water heater etc
Bowtruster is nice to have so i mounted a Sleipner 40sp last year in october.
Sleipner is the vendor producer to many of the famoust boatbuilders in Europe such as Windy,Princess etc.
I can tell you:it is a new boat to drive...in small harbors.
:) My question:
I have a full canvas to my boat it`s a 2004 mod an is marked B&W,but i would like to buy a simple cocpitcover just for the cocpit and windshield.
If any of you know of a producer or the original producer so please let me know.

Best regards Ole

Hello Ole,

Where are you located?

Any good Marine Canvas Shop should be able to make you the cockpit and windshield covers as well as any other canvas items your Shabah needs.

I am having a custom Bow Cover made for our 1996 Z240 Talari and I am looking at having them make me a custom Windshield Guard for towing as well.

Good luck,
WetWilly

Hello
I am located in Norway in Europe, and yes we have many producers to do the job, but they are expensive.
My idea of this message was to find a original producer in USA with the original measure of the cocpit/windshieldcover for my boat Shabah 278 cuddy.

Hi Ole,

Assuming the covers were installed at Mariah then the original producer was the original Mariah Company which closed back in 2001/2002 and are no longer available from them.

Unfortunately, some of the parts on the Mariahs were made in-house instead of having another company make it for them. This allowed them to control the quality and price better, but it made replacing or repairing those parts difficult.

One crazy idea is to locate members here in the US with the same year and model Shabah and see if they can have the canvas covers you need made here and then shipped to you if you think it will save you money.

Just be careful to make sure the covers are exactly the same (size, shape and snap placement) or you will have fitment problems.

Good luck,
WetWilly
