Looking for advice on a boat purchase
I found this boat online for sale and was looking to see what other peoples thoughts are on it. This would be my first boat purchase and wanted to keep the price down a bit. Any feedback/thoughts would be much appreciated!!

Looks like it has been taken care of. Bow and cockpit covers are always a plus. The V6 will get you great efficiency. Can't go wrong with a Mariah! :wink_thumbup:

Re: Looking for advice on a boat purchase
Looks like a nice boat in the pics. 21' would be a great starting size, I think. I noticed they didn't mention how many hours it has but it does appear to be well cared for from what the pics show. Good luck with your decision.

Re: Looking for advice on a boat purchase
The ad says it includes a custom trailer, so I'd say the price is reasonable. Good size, and decent power, and it does appear to have be well cared for. The interiors in the older Mariahs are their achilles heel as parts are scarce. But everything seems to be nicely intact on that one. If the drivetrain checks out I don't think you could go wrong.

Re: Looking for advice on a boat purchase
Thanks everyone for your feedback. I spoke with the guy and he didn't remember how many hours but he thinks around 300. When I asked him if it had a gauge for hours he was not sure. Last year was the first year in the ocean, prior to that it was in a lake. When I check out the price on the NADA website it comes out to be around 6,800. I figure with the trailer it comes in around the sale price.
