Speedometer on the fritz
 

Help!! My speedometer quit. We have a trip planned in two weeks and planned on running at night some, but the lake has a nighttime speed limit and I don't want to deal with water patrol. The sensor wheel on the back acts like the bearing is out and my local marina told me it would take a month to get the parts. Any suggestions?

Just go get a handheld GPS and then you will have a map too.

I should have looked around a little before I asked the question. I found all the similar questions after I posted. Think I will get a gps anyway, thanks.
