Hi dieselwiezil,

Not sure what part your referring too, could you post a picture?

Confused,

are you referring to the "indy style" fuel filler? The flip open type? I believe Summit Racing carries them, as it's not a specialized marine part. I'll look into it and let you know.

Not sure if there is anything similar on this webpage for what you are looking for ..?

Mine is just a plain-jane black plastic flip lid. Not even labelled as gas.. heh.

Mine is the Attwood "Indy Style" as pictured here.

They're running about $130 brand new. You're in luck, there's a used one on ebay right now for $59.

Hey everybody! Hope everyone had a great off season. Ready to go boating soon. I read the thread about the fuel cap and I need a new one myself, mine fills from the transom it is black plastic is this the same fill as the deck fill but just on it's side? Also someone told me that I could stop my gas guage from bouncing around by installing a shunt across the leads on the back of the gauge. Is this true I won't short out everything will I. Thanks Guys.

See the sticky thead at the top of this sub-forum "Jittery fuel gauge" Basically you wire a large capacitor across the terminals of the gauge.
