`1996 Shabah 180, how is it built?

I noticed rot in some of the wood on my Shabah 180.

I can see it in what appears to be non-load bearing trim inside interior (where the radio / speakers mount), and can also feel a couple of spongy spots on the floor.

My questions is, how much of the boat structure is wood or fiberglass?

Should I be concerned about inside "trim", is it load bearing? and what's under the floor wood?

If I replace this wood, what type should I use? I'm guessing it should be treated?

My biggest concern is, dumb question, will this thing fall apart in the water?

Thanks

Chris

No, it wont fall apart in the water. Since you are a site contributor you have access to the Promotional brochures. If you look thru the first 10 pages or so of the brochure you will see drawings of how the boats are constructed.

Thanks, found the brochure, tons of good info in there.
Do you know if there's a high-re version? There's a really good cross section diagram but you can't make out the text.

Thanks

Chris
