windshield weather stripping

I had to remove the windshield so that I could fix the dashboards from rattling. I was looking for a place to buy the foam that goes in the hole to cover up the screws and track. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also has anyone had to do this to the dashboard. The screw fell out and I can not get to the mounting brackets. I thought about liquid nailing the dashboard to the fiberglass
under it or screwing it down.

Re: windshield weather stripping

Have a look at our vendors list for Mariah parts. There is a source listed there. Alternatively, i found similar weather stripping at our local Canadian Tire store. You might want to look thru the weather stripping sections of your local Home Depot / Lowes etc for something similar.

As for the dashboard, i was able to re-attach my brackets when i had a similar problem about 3 yrs ago but it was difficult to reach up into the dash area. The bracket mounts are very fragile though so you need to be careful when trying this. I did however, use some weather stripping before i mounted the dash back in place to eliminate any further rattling.
