What does Limited Edition even mean?
 

I bought my 2001 Z222 Shabah just over a year ago. Well, the title says Z222, but, according to what I saw in the 2001 Brochure, my boat does not have the Z featues, such as the 2 extra speakers, etc... The Prestige trailer says Shabah 222 Limited Edition, so am I correct in assuming the Z on the title is because they had no other way to distinguish the Limited Edition from the regular Shabah?

Do any of you have Limited Editions, and, if so, what is different about them?

I have a 2000 Z250 Limited Edition. When I spoke with Jimmy Fulks before he passed away, he told me what made the Limited Edition models were "the solid gelcoat colors, special buckskin prefixx vinyl interiors, and special LTD graphics. The up charges could add $2000 to $3000 additional cost to the customer."

I would assume the Z designation on your title is just because they didn't have a designation for the Limited Edition models, and they just used Z instead.

I had the same question since mine is a Z212 although it does not have all the Z features it does have many of them. So the Z may be accurate, your vessel may simply not have the specific Z features you are thinking of. You can see alot of my findings on the Grey Hull thread, but more than anything the Limiteds all had a completely solid color hull(White, purple, yellow, grey....) Yours may actually be a Z if it includes a portion of the Z features though.

Sure a nice looking boat and trailer combo.
